Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.
— Elliot Erwitt

Born and raised on the east coast, I traveled cross country in my early twenties to attend college and study film and settled in northern California. As a photographer at my college I documented student life on campus spending long hours in the dark room developing black & white prints for the student newsletter as well as my personal work. Ten years later I moved back to the Boston area to be closer to family and continue my passion for photography with a focus on the connections between people and the animals in their lives. Dogs are a huge part of my life and I encourage you to bring them with you in our sessions together as part of your family.

As a natural light photographer, I am always on the lookout for epic light and raw emotion. My shooting syle is to look for the in between unposed along with those perfectly posed moments as those are sometimes the best images that will add to your story. My goal is to capture you in an authentic way through beautiful images you will have for years to come.
